Mysterious bumps in vulva and near vagina

I have had these tiny bumps in my labia for several years. They are in the skin, hard, and white if i stretch the skin apart and almost like pinpoint balls. In the past few months I have had irregular periods and some spotting one month. Just recently the tiny bumps have spread to around my vulva. They've been there about a month and do not hurt. I also have some tiny pinpoint bumps in lines near my urethra and vagina.

Kind of unrelated, but I started the Nuvaring about three weeks ago. For the first week it went up fine and stayed in place. However, for the past week or so it's been slipping and causing some irritation. I've had a burning/itching and burning felt during urination. I've also noticed some white to a very very light yellow discharge and it's thick.

I guess I should also add that I'm a virgin and have never had sex. I have dry humped and done some touching but nothing else.

My first question is, what do you think the bumps are? And secondly, could the irriation be related to the bumps? If so, what is it? Or is it because of my Nuvaring? My mother thinks I have a yeast infection because of it.

Please help me out. Thanks.

My ob/gyn said that if those tiny bumps got bigger -- it is safe for you to use epsom salt 3 to 4 times daily.   Also they are not cancerous.  Don't worry about it.  She said some women have pimples, some don't, and it's the same with this vulva thing.

I'm premenopause - 54 yrs old, but my period was always irregular.  I did not have my period for 8 mos and suddently i had it again for two months then stopped. Around 4 mos ago i started having severely itchyness in my vagina, i was like crazy and could not work.  I almost asked my husband to take me to the hospital!

After the above happened i had a BIG bump on my vulva (and i thought it was because i scratched my vagina, after soaking in epsom salt the bump getting smaller and smaller, but now i have two more tiny bumps.  it seems these bumps don't want to go away, and it's been four months now.  Tomorrow i will have a biopsy.

FYI, like you my husband and I never had sex before we got married, and I trust my husband never cheats because he loves me and most of all he loves God.  I will let you know when i have the result from the biopsy.

Bumps dont happen during a yeast infection. However I did get bumps like that for 2 weeks because of a BAD infection. The nuva ring could be causing it. I would take it out use back up control and get to your doc.
