NEGATIVE Beta HCG 11DPT 3day embryo

This is my first IVF
Today is 11D pt and we did a blood beta hcg test that came back at -5 needless to say am crushed.
I've had on and off cramps since the transfer , swollen boobs, migraine the second day , cravings and mood swings the last four days . insomnia and hot flushes the last three days . alot of cramping but not painful just noticable . no blood . weird taste in my mouth last two days . on 7/8 dpt had butterfly like feeling in uterus . yesterday almost fainted because i didnt eat breakfast and was struggling with low blood pressure then later with high blood pressure. am 34 so these symptoms don't make sense as i am very active and healthy ran 10 Km every second day before proceedure.i read somewhere that 3 day transfers dont show until 12DPT ,could i still be pregnant? i have all these symptoms , my doc sais to test today and 14dpt . has anybody ever had a negative result turn to positive after 11dpt? am crushed. trying not to be sad.

I'm sorry, I know this will be difficult for a while. The best advice I can give you to get thru it is to keep communication open between you and your husband. He doesn't know how you are feeling physically with all that has taken place with the egg recovery, transfer, meds, side effects. He is hurting emotionally too. I know sometimes we forget that they feel that emotional hurt because they try to be strong for us. The other thing that helps get thru this difficult part is getting answers to questions you may have about why it didn't work out and what can be done differently. Looking forward with a positive attitude and having a new plan.
I want to re read your post and comment when I've had a little time to think about everything here. I am starting my 10th fresh cycle after a break to have our 1st baby 16 months ago.

I'm sorry, I know this will be difficult for a while. The best advice I can give you to get thru it is to keep communication open between you and your husband. Thanx so much for your comforting response. The call was very difficult.
This is our first attemt, I got 16 ovocytes but only 7 fertilized through ICSI and of the seven we used two 4grade 3 day embryos in the first attempt. during the stimulation process was under the usual hormones and tests , nothing out of the ordinary . we have been ttc for 6 years now and we found out dh sperm has low mobility due to an operation he had when he was 10 . I was on utrogetsan progesterone vaginal suppositories post trnsfer but other than that i had no more tests done and was just at home taking it easy.
since we want two embryos at the same time , my RE prefers to implant them at day 3. i have no thyroid issues and am in good health all around .
and during the uterine scan we didn't find any cysts or fibroids the wall was clear .
I am now to wait until tuesday for a conclusive blood test but i have honestly lost all hope, :( been running a fever all day today and weird test in my mouth but probably as you said it's the hormones :( . can I pm you? thanx for the warm supporting shoulder . really needed it today .

I'm so sorry your beta came back negative. That phone call is SO DIFFICULT, I got tears just thinking about it because it never gets easier. I just had a FET (frozen embryo transfer) and it ended badly. I tested, I knew my beta would be negative, but it was still devastating to get that call.
A lot of pregnancy symptoms mimic period symptoms making it that much harder to accept the negative results. If you have the info that comes with your meds (estrogen and progesterone mostly to blame) it lists the side effects. I had my beta 10dpt with a 5day embryo. I have only had one 3day transfer... the rest were 5day transfers. Did you have your estrogen and progesterone checked about a week after transfer? If it were me, I think I would do a hpt today. I think it would help me accept the outcome and I would certainly want to know and have another beta drawn if it were positive. I wanted to mention that your period might be delayed because of the meds. If it's really late make sure to notify your RE. Sometimes you can have cysts that can delay your period.
Is this your first IVF cycle? Does your RE prefer 3 day transfers? Do you have any remaining embryos? Did you have any blood work or other testing before IVF? Depending why you need IVF some testing might of been done beforehand. Did your RE have you take meds besides stims, estrogen, progesterone, baby aspirin? Do you have thyroid issues? Was it checked? Sorry for all the questions....just trying to figure out how I can help you.
