severe pain with vomitting during periods

i am 25 years old.  i have regular periods. i had my first sex last year. Before my active sex life, i was getting only the pain, i used to take pain killers and they solved the problem. but now i am really scared. ever month it is like nightmare to me.  i am very much worried about the periods pain and also other additional discomforts. my periods are very very painful. my periods start with slight pain, then severe pain, dysentry, nausea, vomitting, feeling hot., sweating, then sudden drop in temperature, chillness. For 1 or 2 hours i am helpless, completely exhausted... i am not taking any birth control pills. but my partner is wearing condom.

looking for some help in this forum.

Are you wearing tampons?  It sounds like toxic shock.  If you are wearing tampons stop using them immediately.

Let me know what happens. I would suspect the Dr will order blood work, an ultrasound and then if that comes back clear he may suggest a laprascopy (sp?) it is day surgery and the only way to diagnose endometriosis. Endo can be somewhat controlled by hormones- usually for the most part birth control. During the lap they will laser away any of the endomertium that is overgrowth, look up endometriosis and see if it sound like what you may have

have you talked to your gyn about this? The very painful periods and nasuea can sometimes be endometriosis. Another thing is it might be a good thing to go on birth control as it can help ease severe symptoms
