No Periods and Bad Acne!

I haven't had a period for awhile so the Obgyn put me on Yaz and I took that about 5 days because I was having really bad chest pains so I stopped taking it , I did start a period that lasted 8 days that was back in Dec 07 !
I went and seen my regular Dr that put me on Medroxypr Ac 10 mg to help start well I have taken all that and still no periods I did how ever have some cramps but no period!
Also have had really bad Acne so my Dr also put me on Minocycline 100mg still hasn't gotten rid of my acne and I clean my face every day just wont go away!
My Acne has really gotten bad!

Can anyone tell me why im still not having periods and why I'm getting really bad Acne?

I am by no means an expert, but I have spent many hours researching my own acne/womanly issues.  I've read about some of the symptoms you're describing in certain hormonal disorders such as Cushing's Syndrome and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.  If I were you I would tell (not ask) my OB/GYN to test my hormone levels to check for any abnormalities.  If that doesn't help, I'd see about getting a referral to an Endocrinologist for a more complete screening.  Hope this helps!
