No period, abdominal pain

For the past two weeks I have been having very intense lower abdominal pain, that feels like strong period cramps, but I do not have my period. They come and go throughout the day, and last between 30-60 seconds each time. I have not had my period yet this month. My periods have never been regular, even while I was on birth control; which I am no longer on due to complications. Has anyone ever had this problem? Any advice?

Me and my boyfriend are sexually active but we use condoms. I haven't taken a test but I just bought one to be sure. I'm just not sure when exactly my period is "late" because of the irregularity.

Did you end up getting your period or finding out the reason as to why you were experiencing this cause I'm going through the same thing

I understand. I have an irregular period also. But do I agree that you should go to a doctor. Preferably a gynecologist? I think they would have a better idea and can have tests done to discover what's wrong. Especially if it's something internal. It could be serious.

I would go see your doctor because the cause of the pains and the absent period needs to be discovered.
