One blister on labia, maybe friction?

Recently I've picked up cycling about 40-50 miles per week along with strenuous training and noticed a solo abscess on my labia after a cycle session where I had tight fitting underwear. I popped the abscess and some white fluid came out, and it's still raised but steadily getting smaller with neosporin application. I have never had sex and the last time oral happened was late 2013. Obviously it could still be herpes, but it does not appear to have an ulcer look and there was only one small oval-shaped zit-like abscess near the very top center where a camel toe forms.. Lol. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome!

Also note: I started up birth control pills again recently after two years off of them in order to lighten my periods and help with acne.  I did have a bit of an acne flare during the first week as well as that little fun spot down there. Is it possible that changing hormones alone can cause an abscess? What the heck.
