Painful Intercourse

I am going thru menopause and have not had sex in about 3 years (no lobito), anyway I had sex recently and it was very painful...  like my vagina had closed up for business!!!  It felt very constricted and as I said was extremely painful. What vaginal conditions can cause these types of symptoms? Has anyone else experienced this?

Sometimes that happens to me when I haven't had sex for a while. One big thing is that since you are going through menopause your vagina is not going to produce as much lubrication as it did before menopause. Make sure that you are using lube! And make sure that you are very relaxed and "ready" before sex--have a couple glasses of wine if necessary. ;) Luck!
