Woke up this morning to find brown discharge

My boyfriend and I had sex on august 3rd, today is the 9th.  We used a condom but i think it broke, I didn't worry to much about it because I was just finishing my period, which now I realize was sooooo stupid.  I'm always good at checking that sort of thing and taking plan b's but this time I wasn't.  So yesterday, the 8th, I went back on my birth control.  This morning I woke up to find brown discharge in my panties and the toilet.  I've had brown discharge before at the beginning of my period but it didnt not last this long or look like this.  My ovaries also really hurt.  I recently got diagnosed with tonsillitis, and I just finished a ten day antibiotics round, and am getting my tonsils removed in ten days.  I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem, but I thought it was worth mentioning.  I did some research and one possibility was a foreign body like a tampon could be in me.  The night I had sex I had a tampon in before but I'm pretty sure I took it out, not positive.  The last few days I have also been in bed, but I think my tiredness is due to my tonsillitis.  Now I'm not sure.  Never the less I am scared.  I think I should go to the gyno.  I just wanted to see if it was a big deal before I told my mom. Thank you

I got pregnant from using antibitotics. Actually for the same reason. All you can do is wait to see if you get your period. Or go to the gyno for blood work. But since you just had your period, you probably ain't pregnant. But it would be good to check before you go into surgery.
