Periods can alter from month to month. Also the older you get the more your hormones change and stress is a big factor in hormones. You can also be pregnant and have light bleeding that is mistaken for a period. For your peace of mind have her take a pregnancy test. I would not worry about anything being wrong. Like I said periods change as we get older and we just have to learn how to adjust with it. If you plan on being sexually active I would suggest she get on some type of birth control. No only do you not have to wonder about getting her pregnant but it regulates the period to where she would know the exact day she will start. Best wishes, Sissie
