Please help...

I gave birth 9 weeks ago and got my first depo shot 3 weeks ago. I having been passing blood clots with my menstrual cycle and the last blood clot was  2 in long and about 1/2 in wide it had some white parts to it and it was hard and sticky. What could it be?

Thanks that actually helped a lot. I was worried about the miscarriage because that could be a possibility. I am definitely calling my doc in the morning. Thanks again.

The way you described the clotting and blood sounds like a miscarriage. I know because I've had two of them. Though it is possible that the white matter you saw is just left over matter from the embryotic sac and possibly even your baby after giving birth. Is there any possibility you could have become pregnant between the time after giving birth and the time before getting your depo shot? If so, I would definitely see your doctor to make sure your body is clear of any tissue that may or may not still be there. Hope this helps.
