Is this Normal?

I am 16. I would like to start off by saying, that there are many thing that I find unattractive about my vagina... First is that I have very poofy and large labia majora. I also have long labia minora lips which I absolutely hate, they are a dark brown color that is a turn off to me. Another thing that I can't stand is that my clitoris hood is so long and wrinkly that is about 2 inches long with my clitoris at the end. My boyfriend says that he loves my vagina but its my biggest insecurity. I would like to know if this is normal for some girls as well, because i would watch porn just to see if the girls have the slightest resemblance of my vagina, and I couldn't find one woman that did. I would also like to know if its attractive in any way possible. thank you!!

Don't look to porn to see what is normal.  Try Betty Dodson's "genital art gallery."  (It's online.)   You'll see that vaginas look like a lot of things and come in a lot of creative colors.  My husband always laughs when I mention that sometimes women on this site are worried about how their vaginas look.  His take on it, is that if a man is in the happy position of looking at labia face to face, he is not making negative aesthetic judgments, he is congratulating himself on his luck.  Listen to the user feedback (i.e., the happy man in your life), don't override it with your own aesthetic judgments.  lol

Hello,

Most of us don't find our genitalia to be attractive; yes, brown or purplish, wrinkly, long, short.  I would like to reassure you that there is a huge range of what is really normal and what is seen on porn is most likely NOT normal for most of us.

Don't focus on how it looks.  Your body is functional and does what it is supposed to do.  It gives your boyfriend much pleasure, and hopefully you too.

Focus on other parts of your body... I assure you waht you have is normal.
