I found that my vaginal dermatitis was caused by an allergy to cows dairy products. As soon as I cut these out, the dermatitis cleared. Started eating them again and it came back!
I am so happy to have found this blog. I can't thank you enough for posting this information. I have been so itchy and sore for about 2 years and my doctors have not given me any useful advice. My life has been a misery and I just can't wait to start the treatment / advice given. THANK YOU!
Most welcome ladies :) I hope this information helps with your conditions too, it has completely cured me after suffering for at least 12 months.
I couldnt agree more with you Ali, the health industry has turned into an incredibly profitable business for dr's and particularly the pharmacetucial companies. It's terribly sad. Like everything else in the world the $ rules and in this case our health suffers. I'm in Australia and things are the same here.
I couldnt believe how many ladies are suffering from the same condition when I started searching for information, it totally blew me away. My Dr was at a loss as to what to do next except prescribe more antibiotics and I knew that wasnt going to help and finding that website saved me. I truly hope it can do the same for you both and others who may find this information and yes, we sure do need to share and communicate with others. We can be our own best advocates for our health and maybe for others too.
Best of luck x
Hi, Ladies! Thanks so much for the informational link. I read your website and learned some stuff I didn't know, like cycles of discomfort, and the inter-relationships between dermatology and gynaecology (meaning many lady docs don't have training in skin disorders!)
Makes you wonder why we pay so much of our hard-earned cash to doctors and insurance companies who don't tell us what we need to know! I don't wonder any more.. Follow the money - they want to sell us products that not only don't work, but can also be counterproductive!
Ladies, please LOOK, learn, and communicate - like we're doin' here!. Ask questions to each other, and to your specialists and other medical care professionals. What we have sadly lost in the UK, and we are rapidly losing in my new home, the US, is the provider-customer relationship that makes the free market so powerful. Nobody knows the true costs of anything any more, and thus inertia makes it go UP. We're killing the goose that lays the golden egg of healthcare that we assume and take for granted at our peril!
OMG Thanks a bunch for this link.I am glad there is still hope for my now 6 year old itch. It all started with antibiotics for ear infection.
I will share this link on some other forums.
