What should young girls do when they don't want any pubic hair? I understand shaving is not the best option but I don't have another choice because I play volleyball in little spandex and I don't need to be worrying about people seeing anything.

Hi there. I think the above is best advice. Shaving or waxing completely can end up being uncomfortable as that hair will try to grow back in and it often itches and is a bit uncomfy at that stage. We also have pubic hair for a reason. So, I'd just trim it very tightly and shave at the bikini line. good luck
You can always trim your pubic hairs and then just shave around your bikini line area
