Yeast infection or way worse??

I have been sexually active for about 3 months now. About a week ago i experienced pain and extreme dryness during sex. I checked myself out 'down there' and FREAKED outtt. I saw white tastebud looking things on my vagina so i did some research and the symptoms resembled vaginal thrush. I dont have health insurance so i havent gone to the doctor. But the right next day i went to the pharmacy and took the yeast infection screening.. I felt pretty sure its a yeast infection based on directions and the online information. I have never had a yeast infection before in fact i rarely even get sick.
So that same day i also got monostat 7. Tonight is night 7 and i am now worried about the reddish/ pinkish overgrown tastebud looking things and its freaking me out. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? Is it normal?

I know what you mean about those "tastebuds" there like little pieces of something. I had black ones which usually come after period of if you got bv. And the white ones. I think are from yeast infections. Good luck!

Okay, so in 2010 I started dating this guy and after a couple of months we started doing things.. Never had sex, but skin to skin contact & grinding took place. His penis to my vagina & all. This was the first guy I ever did anything with. Even before meeting him I usually experienced burning & itching on my vagina. But after our "sexual grinding" the itching & burning continued.. It's been several years I've had this issue & never took it serious. Sometimes It would itch so bad that I would even put ice on my vag to stop it.. I usually feel bumps under my fingers around the moist part of my Vagina when I touch it. They never look like they'res any liquid inside them or any white stuff. If I scratch too hard in my sleep I will probably peel the skin off with my nails so they'll look red.. And recently it's been a couple of days I had joint burning & pain on my legs & back & right arm around my elbow area. I'm scared as hell. I don't know what to do. All I do is research on google and it's been stressing me a lot lately. I can't sleep at night & have been feeling anxiety. I don't have any weird or foul discharge. My discharge is whitish like cream all around my vagina  and sometimes I see it on my underwear too if I don't use the restoom for long. I've been having really bad constipation for about 7 months now also. I'm just really scared :( I haven't gotten my Vag checked or gotten any tests for STD's because I'm scared of what I will do when I do get the results & they're positive. It's really stressing me out. And now that I have read other people's symptoms and read that body aches are due to herpes I've been freaking out even more. I can't even tell my family about this cause they don't know I used to have a BF. I'm talking to another guy now we don't do anything more than kissing. If it is herpes can I pass It on to him by kissing him? Someome please help :( btw I don't use anything for the bumps & the itch they come & go often.. Now the bumps, itching & burning is gone but I still have muscle aches. Could this be something even worse that herpes? Or does it sound like vaginal yeast? Does yeast even come with muscle pains? I need help from anyone please.

If you don't have health insurance called the health department and see if they have a clinic so you can get checked out and find out what it is. Sometimes you have to pay nothing or pay a little. It is not much at all. That do not sound like a yeast infection at all.

Yeast infection is a white cheesy discharge. "reddish/ pinkish overgrown tastebud looking things" doesn't sound like yeast.  You really need to see a dr. It could be vaginal warts or something else. Do you and your partner use protection, if not you really need to have this checked out.

yeast infections are quite normal and happen to most women. however, what you're describing does not sound like a yeast infection. a yeast infection caused clumpy white discharge but there not supposed to look like 'taste buds' it's just discharge. i would see a doctor asap.
