Skin between Butt Cheeks Tearing

when i was taking a shower a few weeks ago I felt stinging pain when I was washing my butt! I looked in the mirror and when you first see it it looks like a red line but then I spread my butt cheeks farther apart and realized that my skin looked like it was cut open. I haven't had any bleeding though.  It hurts really bad when you touch it, when i take a shower, or when i spread my butt cheeks apart. Hurts only a little bit when I am sitting in certain positions. I sweat a lot on my butt-maybe this has something to do with it?  Is it safe to go swimming? Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? HELP PLEASE!! I feel like this is so unusual!

Sometimes the skin in the crack becomes irritated, either too dry from hot showers or in your case, chapped from perspiration. Honestly, this will sound odd but diaper creams work quite well for that. After a shower gently apply a little Desitin or one of those creams on the area. It will hurt to touch it but it heals up in a couple of days. This is a great thing to have on hand too if you ever have a bad case of diarrhea. It helps protect the anus from all that burning poo. Diarrhea is never fun but a sore rear doesn't help.

OMG I have this exact same thing! I am CONSTANTLY cleaning myself. Bath in the morning...another one if I have been to the bathroom, another one at 2:00 after the first part of my job and yet still a shower before bed. But never less than three times in the tub somehow or another. I also recently became OBSESSED with cleanliness it seems and was wiping ALOT to get clean and then taking a bath. I think this might be my problem. any one else got an idea?

People, you might have a yeast infection. I've been though what you guys have been though.
What to do?
Apple cider vinegar on a cotton dab some water mixed with vinegar and apply.
Yes, it burns like hell. Worth it.
Get some aloe Vera and intrest it inside or where ever it hurts. Helps the pain, and soothes it.
Wear two panty liners that reach the back of your anus.
Stop spreading your anus, and use vaseline to soothie it.
Eat foods with low sugar.
Eat Garlic and yogurt.
Drink tons of water
