Small, hard lump near clitoris... What is it???

Hi,

For the last 2 days ive had a small lump near my clit (the size of a small bead). Its a bit painful so its bothering me. Its happened to be before and has gone down by itself so im not really worried.

I just wanna know what this is and what causes it... Anyone can help me pls???

There's a mass on the right side of my clit. It's very painful except for a few positions. I read some of these comments and would've tried popping it but even the littlest pressure I put on it it starts burning. I'm 16 and not sexually active. I'm too afraid to tell my mom to schedule a gynecologist apt to have it checked. I've tried putting ice on it which eased the pain slightly but it'll just go back to being painful. I have no idea what it could be or what to do. I'm trying warm sitz baths from now on (read on the internet that if it's a cyst it'll pop with that). Hopefully it'll go away by itself.

I have the same thing, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. Im hoping that by keeping it clean, putting vitamin E on it, and occasionally washing with Epsom salt will help, but I dont know what Im gonna do if it doesnt go away. Please let me know if you found out what it is, if you got rid of it, etc. Thank you!!

I too have a lump under the skin and its hard. I am 62 yrs. What could this be? Is there something like a home remedy for this? Cause it doesn't have a head and I don't shave.

Could be a vinerial disease. Warts.
Or an ingrown hair.
Some kind of a tumor.

Sometimes powder, secretions etc. Form hard lumps under the clitoral hood.  Gently pull the hood back and try to expose the lump..it is usually whitish in color.  It may take a few days of gently pulling on the skin to expose it.  The lumps can actually fuse the hood to the skin so work gently.  When you do remove it expect the clitoris to be red and sore...that will go away in a few days.

I'm having similar problems to all of you all aswell. I've got a lump just above my clitoris and to the right, it's hard and roughly pea sized, it doesn't really hurt if I apply pressure or touch it, it just feels un comfortable at times. I'm only 14, and I'm most definitely not sexually active in any way, so it can't be an STD. I'm just a little worried as to what it could may be. Ive had it once before, about 4-7 days ago and I tried and I think I succeeded in popping it, but it's come back, in the same place and now its harder than the one I had before and this one won't pop. I'm just really worried as too what it could be. I've told my sister and she had had a look at it, but she says it's just an Ingrowing hair, but I don't usually get hair in the place where the lump is? I'm going to tell my mum in the morning, I'm just wondering or not whether to make my mum make me a doctors appointment to whether or not this can be serious or not. If anyone can reply with some advice to help me, I'd be so thankful because this is really worrying me

I had something similar a few times now. The first time it was about the size of a pea inside the skin of the lower left vagina lip. But I could also move it around withou it hurting. Then I tried to pinch it and it was extremely painful. I continued to pinch it and it felt as if it popped. Nothing came out obviously seeing that it was underneath the skin. The second time I noticed it was about the size of maybe to peas. I was able to move it around. I tried pinching it and it seemed to get a little smaller. Then I moved it around and while doing that I lost it. I'm curious to know what it is. I want to ask my doctor about it but u haven't had one for her to actually feel and examine. It's concerning me more and more now.

Goethe past year after I have sex I get a pea sized cyst like bump on my left lip on my vagina right near my clit. It usually goes away by itself. But I have yet to figure out what it is. I get a cyst on my clit about once a year or so. I've gone to the doctor once for it and she just had me put a warm/hot cloth on the area and repeat the process when the cloth got cold and the cyst would pop. It works for me, but the cyst has to be 'ready' to pop for it to work. But if its not ready, it will speed up the process. Its gross when it oozes out, but it is instant relief.

Ive had this before and I believe it was a zit...i would squeeze it and leave it and it would be painful then id leave it and by the next day it would be at a head and ready to pop.  I had to pop it a few times before it went away though...

i have the same problem im 14 and i had a small lump just above my clit and i got kinda worried but i just left it then it ended up bursting then started bleeding allot but then i found out i have another 2 more further down more nearer to my clit im worried about what it could be! cos im too worried & embaressed to tell anyone else!?

I, too, have suffered fron these bumps off and on over the years. I was curious...I read the above post regarding their recurrence relating to diet and/or periods, I have notice mine recur after periods of great sadness or particularly stress. Anyone else noticed a pattern in their breakouts?

Probably its an ingrown hair that's the first thing that came to mind
