Somewhat baffled

I took a Vagisil test to find out if I had a yeast infection, needless to say when I removed the slab and checked the results the color was similar to 5.0 and by reading the instructions the paper showed that it's an indication of infection such as BV but if it's higher than 5.0 to 7.0 it's Trichomoniasis. This past week I've had a UTI and a month or two ago I was tested for BV came back negative, which could it be?

Hello,
Without pelvic examination and discharge culture it is very difficult to say whether it is trichomoniasis or bacterial vaginosis. While trichgomoniasis produces foul smelling yellow discharge, bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause of abnormal vaginal odor and discharge. It is caused by a change in the type of bacteria found in the vagina. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I have a doctors appointment next Wednesday I made sure to tell the receptionist to put down for me to be tested for everything. I feel like a nasty person for retuning on numerous occassions to the gynecologist in which I'm not nasty. I'm aware that I should have check up's yet for the same ole thing something has to give.

Hi Apple, if your UTI is still present then try some cranberry juice, it could be your knight in shinning armour, try it 3 times a day and is said to cure an UTI.
Good Luck
