periods

i am feeding my baby , he is now 5 months old and i have no periods ,what is the reason , i am afraid of pregnent

not pregnant, if you're breast feeding you wont get periods until 6 months after birth, hen you'll need to discuss contraception

If you are breast feeding, it can keep you from havng a period. HOWEVER, many people think they cannot get pregnant while breas feeding and that is not the case. Basically, you don't know when your period will be starting so you could end up having intercourse while ovualting for the first time and become pregnant and not have a period. So, if you think there is a chance you could be pregnant you should take a home test.
