Stomach issue

I'm an over thinker and cause my self to stress out a lot, recently I thought I was pregnant when I wasn't in fact and caused a lot of stress and tension in my body. I've been having stomach aches and cramping along with noises my stomach makes. Last night my brother made stir fry and I don't think he cook it right, an hour later I started throwing up, fever, chills, diarriah was very watery. I've been drinking goner ale and that seems to work. Today I woke up feeling a little better but still watery poop. Any advice? Thanks

I'm sorry that you are feeling poorly.  He might not have cooked the chicken through in the stir fry and you have gotten food poisoning. Important thing is to hydrate.  Small sips though but on a regular basis rather than chugging as once the stomach is irritated, it can throw things right back up.  Ibuprofen will help with the fever (or Tylenol).  Don't worry about eating right away.  then start slow.  The BRAT diet is recommended for getting over stomach issues which is bland and stands for bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast.  Clear broth.  fruit.  popsicles.  But usually this runs its course.  If it doesn't, see your doctor.  I've had food poisoning 4 times in my life.  Some worse than others.  But it does go away fairly rapidly usually (a couple of days).

Thank you so much,  I'm gonna try it out, so far the Apple sauce is helping and the ginger ale too.  It's not the first time this has happen, I have been diagnosed with having a very sensitive stomach but I woke up feeling better after a nap. :)
