Swimming during period

Is it bad to go swimming while I'm on my period ?

Hello,
There is no harm going for swimming when having your periods but it may be messy and uncomfortable for you. You can use tampons instead of sanitary napkins.

Yes swimming is to be avoided during periods as this will pollute the water and not good for other users. Also there is an increased possibility of infection during this time. Hope this helps.
