Swollen lumps in pelvic area. Worried.

Ok, when I press down right between my pubic mound and my pelvic bone on the right side, there are several small, hard, painful lumps. I asked about it at my last exam but she said it was normal & not to worry, but that didn't put my mind to ease at all. They are more tender at certain times. I'm always pressing and checking them. I'm 23 and I've had them for about 5-6 yrs & Its driving me nuts

Hi,
they maybe lymph nodes that you are feeling , the trouble is the more you keep pressing on them then the more you will irritate them and they will not get a chance to go back down .  If  you have had them for 5-6 years then im sure they are nothing to worry about, another trip to the doctors might be a good idea though , you could ask them to explain what they are because its causing you a lot of worry .

Best wishes Angie
