Prescribed metronidazole - can you have sex on the last day of mediation?

I’ve been prescribed metronidazole. I am to take two tablets a day for 7 days and was advised not to have sex or drink alcohol while taking the medication. I had one of the pills today (day was almost over when I picked up the medication from the pharmacy) and the last day, I will only have one more left. I will be seeing him while I have to take the last 3 pills. Two on one day and one on the last.

Would it be okay to have sex on either of those days, with a condom? How would it affect the medication? Would the odor persist throughout the 7 days of taking the medication? Also, if I waited on the last day of the medication to have sex, how long should I wait till it is okay?
