This helped a lot thank you!!!! The flappin skin is like and inch long and I don't know if I should try tearing it off or letting it try and heal!
Tell your boyfriend to cut his nails short if he is going to be touching your vagina.
If there is still bleeding and flapping skin after a few days, I think yiu should go to the doctors.
If you are afraid to go to your doctr, go to a Healthy Sexuality Clinic or a Family Planning Clinic. They are very good and descreet.
I had a chunck scratched from my labia minora (inside lips) from his fingernail so I know the pain you are talking about. Mine bled for a day or so as well. I kept washing (gentle soap and water, sometimes I added a touch of salt to the rinse water) every time after I used the washroom and anytime I felt discomfort.
It hurt like a ***** but it is very important to keep the wound clean. I used also some Canestan cream to help.
mine healed perfectly but took some time as I am also diabetic.
I took pictures often with my phone (since it is very hard to see down there) to make sure the wound was clean and not looking infected.
the first sign of swelling, redness, puss or anything not looking good..... get to the docs. This is a very sensitive area as well as moist so easy for infection to set in.
If you are freaking out still then it is best to get it looked at and tell your partner to be gentle down there.
Your vagina is a very soft and suptle and should have no rough fingernails or things that might hurt you near it. If he won't clip his nails then do not let him touch down there. Remember it's your body and you are in control of your vagina (lol).
