Vaginal Discharge

I had intercourse after about a year and two days later started having a vaginal discharge that felt normal. The area around the entrance of my vagina is tender, but it could be bruising as his penis was really big. What worries me is that the discharge has an unnatural odor even though it is clear or very pale yellow. the area around my vagina is still tender with a slight burning sensation when i urinate and it is now 5 days later.

Please advise if this is normal or weather I should consult a doctor.

I would advise that you see your doctor.

You may have got a bacterial or fungal infection from your sexual partner.  If the doctor confirms this, then both of you will need to be treated.

With you feeling a burning sensation when you urinate you may also have Cystitis.  Make sure you drink plenty of water.

Take a urine sample with you when you see your doctor.  A morning mid stream sample is best.

Best wishes.

Was the intercourse protected or unprotected? If unprotected and he ejaculated inside of you, it could be his sperm coming out along with your discharge. As for the odor, does it seem kind of like a vinegar-smelling type odor? This could be because of the pH balances. The bruising and tenderness is normal after waiting long for having incourse. Another possiblity is that you might have a yeast infection, so you should go into the doctor and get it checked out and maybe get on antibiotics.
