Vaginal bleeding after/during sex and with a bowel movement

I have Endomertiosos and another condition called Adenomyosis. I have been plagued by the symptoms from those problems for years now. But recently I have a new symptom and I am worried. A few months ago I started bleeding vaginaly during a bowel movement which still happends often...it also happends during and after intercourse. I have been tested for STD's and everything was all negative I have even had an ultrasound done and nothing. I am waiting to get a pap done. Anyways I am sooo frusterated and have been reading alot about cervical cancer so now I am scared that I might be having symptoms of cervical cancer. But I am also thinking it may just be the endometriosis or that other thing. I did have Human Papiloma Virus years ago...no problems for about 9 years now. Can anyone give me any insight???? I have also been extremely fatigued and have alot of lower back pain. I just don't know what to do and the doctors are not taking me serious. Please help!!!!!

I've just started to have the same problem this week. I've been in and out of the doctors for 3 - 4 years now with intense period pain and pain on intercourse. Various things have been blamed and ruled out. I've had an ultrasound, kidney funtion, liver function and thyroid function tests. I had a laparoscopy about 4 weeks ago which found nothing abnormal. I had to have an ECG afterwards as my heart rate was high when i was coming around from the aneasthetic. I had sex again for the first time in months 4 days ago and have pretty much had some kind of vaginal bleeding and cramps since then. It started as red and then became a thick brown. It stops but then starts again for the rest of the day as soon as I have a BM.

I'm on Cerazette at the moment as this was supposed to control the endometriosis they thought I had. This does mean that I haven't had a periodin about 3 months. I'm going back for a Gyne appointment in 2 weeks but I'm getting really stressed out with everything. I'm losing hair, constantly tired and still get cramps now and again and I don't know if its down the stress, the tablets or its a new sympton!

I have this same problem. Bleeding dark brown or bright red 4 days before and after my period. Its so annoying being done with your period only to have your painful painful feels like labor BM bring it back. I have a 3 week cycle it seems. I had this problem with bleeding after sex 2 years ago and actually went in to the dr on the last day of my period and there was a large cyst on my cervix my dr could touch and it would bleed. This was removed and the bleeding stopped for a year and a half. Its back. I had another small polyp removed in May. It helped a little with the hormone symptoms but not the bleeding. Its so frustraiting!!

Also, what color/ consistency? I see people saying bright red, but mine is dark brown and very thick, mucous-like. Is that "normal" for this problem?

This is exactly the same thing happening to me! It scares me. I have vaginal bleeding with bm's and after sex, lower back pain, endometriosis. All tests come back negative, a picture of health. It's so frustrating and scary. Since everything comes back negative, the Dr keeps thinking that I am confessed and that thr blood might be rectal in nature, but i KNOW that it isn't. I'm just at a lessor what to do. I'm afraid if I let it go o., it could progress to something worse.

I am just wondering if their is anybody out there who had these symptoms but was able to get pregnant regardless?  Been trying for 4-1/2 years.  Gone thru all the tests with no help.  Drs. want us to do hormonal injections to get pregnant, but we are not ready for that step.  Just looking for some hope.  Trying to keep our faith in God's plan.

I too have been experiencing vaginal bleeding upon straining during a BM for some time.  I have spoken to my GYN several times without success.  After reading many of these posts, I see many commonalities...HPV that required intervention including a colposcopy, cone biopsy, Leep procedure, etc.  My conclusion...each of these procedures has made our cervix weak or sensitive and therefore, when we strain to have a bowel movement or intercourse, our cervix bleeds.

I am so thankful to have found this.  Although I did not find a diagnosis, I feel better knowing that I am not the only one with this problem.  Thanks ladies!
