Can you describe them a little more?  How many do you have?  Are they little and a bright red?  If so, I have a few of these.  I used to have one on my face but it disappeared after about 10 years.  I now have one on my pinky, my hand and my breast.  I was once told by my eye doctor (go figure), that these are a sign of allergies.  They're harmless.  If you are concerned, there is no harm in seeing a dermatologist.
