Can pregnancy be naturally avoided without using invasive NFP

Hello ! I am a new Catholic and recently engaged. Natural Family Planning is a course required for married couples in the Catholic Church that teaches women how to monitor their bodies to keep track of fertility/infertility, so couples can have sex without any contraception. NFP is very invasive and makes me as a woman feel more like a lab rat than a lover. I was wondering if any other women have figured out ways to know when they are fertile or infertile without the detailed charts and invasive measurements and temperature readings. Thank you !
