How old are you? Until my 17 I was like that. But the last 2 years everything seems to getting a normal way. I used to have 8 day period and the first 4 were like hell with pain and heashaches. Try going to gym some days before and sleep well during your period and for the pain drink paracetamol a cup of milk and sleep.

Birth control can help lighten a period or completely stop it. You can do this even if you are not sexually active I went on birth control when i was 12 because the excessive bleeding and cramps made me anemic and stay in constant pain. Good Luck!
