Is it normal for clear mucas discharge to come out during period?

I was pregnant 3 months ago and had a miscarriage 2 months ago,it's the same mucas like stuff as I had during the short pregnancy. well a week ago I was diagnosed with kidney infection, and they put me on antibiotics twice a day. yesterday was my last day of antibiotics and my period started early that morning.
beforehand I noticed small little things that weren't like a normal period, but I assume I'm still healing from the miscarriage.
well yesterday m period was lighter but a dark red, and the mucas wasn't much. Today my period is blood red (normal) and there is a lot of mucus.
I guess my question is I don't know if this is normal because I never had it during a period, but is it possible made me the kidney infection caused it.

Possibly the antibiotics have caused this. They are well known for upsetting the PH of the vagina, increasing fungus or yeast, etc.  Just watch it, don't worry.  And if it starts itching, tell your doctor.  Very sorry to hear about your miscarriage hon

Thank you. I go see a doctor soon for the follow up for the kidney infection.  Hopefully it cleared up.
