What does excessive spotting for 10 days after your period mean?

Hello, I am 23 and I've always had very regular periods until this. I have now been "off" of my period for about 10 days but I have continued to spot heavily every day. There is no pain associated with this. I haven't had this happen before, what could be the cause?

Hi there.  Best to talk to a doctor.  The idea of birth control pills is that it does often even out someone's cycle and works in that way for many.  That is between you and your doctor.  good luck

Hormonal imbalance: see an obgyn if it is a constant. Acupuncture can help with some diet changes as well. Very common and better ways put there to fix besides throwing hormonal perception pills at it. That is just a temporary fix.

Hi there.  Possibly a hormonal imbalance or you have fibroids.  You should see a doctor for an exam to determine the exact cause of this.  good luck
