the left side of my vagina the inner lip is swollen. what is this from?

It could be an infection of the Skene's gland, or possibly a Bartholin's gland. Look them up to see if the symptoms fit. Good luck.

Do you have any sort of sore or mark?  Is it painful?  I might try a warm compress on the area, but if it doesn't improve in the next day or two (or if it starts getting worse) I'd want to be seen by a doctor.
