Women's health

i recently had a miscarriage but did not stop bleeding for the next three weeks after that. i went to see a doctor, had a scan and was prescribed some medication. about a week after i took the meds, the bleeding stopped. its been 2months now but yesterday while i was at work started bleeding heavily but i had no sign of a period coming, the blood was thick, red unlike menstrual blood. it was so heavy it even ran down into my shoes. it has since stopped but i am getting worried. what could be the problem?

When was your period due? I'd maybe see your doctor. After a miscarriage, especially after having one then having to take meds etc, it can really mess with your cycles, so it's possible that is the cause. The doctor should hopefully be able to shed some light.

That definitely doesn't sound like a period. It would need to last a few days for it to be considered that.
