Worried About Partners Excessive Bleeding

Hello there,

I've been browsing many, many posts regarding various causes for extreme vaginal bleeding and discomfort around the vagina, and none have shed too much light for me as to what is going on with my partner.

My partner is a 21 Year old female with the following conditions:
Hypothyroidism
M.E

She has to have a pill known as "Cerelle" which is known to cause irregular periods and spotting, however I'm talking pints of blood being lost at times and clots the size of a tennis ball.

For roughly 3 Years now she has had irregular bleeding, both around her period and over the last 18 months, constantly on and off.  Initially this was passed off as Endometriosis after a long battle with the British NHS to try find a diagnosis.

Very little was done regarding whether or not we could treat her, and she was given antibiotics to combat her issue and light pain meds with the instruction that "when it hurts, apply a heat pack to the area".

We are unable to maintain a sex life, however of what little sex life we do have she always ends up bleeding terribly afterwards, the same applies for an examination, shortly after she will bleed continuously ruining dresses and lingerie several times a day.

Around 4 months ago when she had her worst spout of bleeding, she lost so much blood she had to be given blood in the hospital and the wounds were cauterised in order to reduce the amount of bleeding that occurred.  Here they biopsied her and found that she had several tears and "Abnormal cells"

Since then I contracted HPV (however doctors didn't bother to DNA test it and simply gave me Warticon which removed it after 3 days.  They claim she has tested negative for all pregnancy tests and is always clean on the STD panel.

Right now we're very frustrated as we're worried she could be getting close to a fatal condition, and we cannot afford the bills to go private medical care.  The NHS claim that it's all psychological but the ridiculous amount of bleeding witnessed really is alarming, and nobody seems to have described any similar issue.

We're worried not only that we're almost certain this will render her infertile at the rate at which she seems to be having problems and NOT BEING TREATED.  But also that her life could in fact be in danger given that I've been google diagnosing all kinds of possible problems such as Cervical Cancer and so on, though she had the injection at a young age.

I would really appreciate any help you could offer me as I suffer huge anxiety and stress due to watching my young beautiful partner in agony and without any help what so ever, and currently I'm documenting everything in a diary to prepare a legal case against the NHS as I feel the way they have handled the case is looking at malpractice.

Many thanks,

A concerned young man.

Hello Specialmom,

They haven't touched on fibroids yet and keep sticking to the endometriosis diagnosis.

She can only take this kind of pill according to the NHS because of her pre-existing condition and yeah she takes thyroid balancing medication.

Hi there.  I assume they ruled out fibroids?  Has she been put on contraceptive pills which help with irregular bleeding often?  Is she on thyroid medication?
