It sounds like a posibiility of the herpes virus mind you I'm no professional and I don't have it but a friend has it what she thought she had was razor burn and it was actually herpes I'd go to the Dr again. While it's possibly nothing when your showing signs of the break out is the best time to have it looked at
Hello.. Was wondering if you could help with this.. In September I had a full std check done by my Gyno-all negative.. I had sex in the first week of November and 5 days later the guy said his penis burned.. No discharge, no rash, just his whole penis burned constantly. We both went to the doctors.. They took our blood and treated us for what sounded like chlamydia or ghonnorea.. Mind you, I had no symptoms other than BV which I was also treated for that day. A week later after antibiotics he feels fine. I feel the same as I said I was having no symptoms other than discharge and odor from BV which I am very prone to, but the antibiotics took that away.. Then all of a sudden he starts to feel the burning again and goes back to the doctor, as do I. Then a second test on me comes back negative. So all together I had three tests done since september and we are mid December. All negative. We are waiting on his second set of tests as the doctor didn't explain his first test? Almost like he forgot to send the blood work out or something.. So now, I am experiencing a red, razor like burn on my inner lips. No bumps, just really red on my inner layer minora (hope I'm saying that right)... I am having a slight discharge with no odor.. Please help on any ideas.. I was thinking maybe a yiest infection??
Hello,
First of all it can be due to allergic reaction or contact dermatitis to your undergarments, sanitary napkins or tampons, soaps etc. There is no change in the colour or smell of discharge in this case.
Secondly, It can be due to vaginal infections or STD’s like Chlamydia or thrush for which you need to consult a doctor.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing
