abdominal hematoma following a abdominal hysterectomy

I had an abdominal hysterectomy 17 days ago and have had a lot of pain and discomfort since then.  I returned to the doctor on monday (2 days early) and they took blood and sent me for a cat scan.  this showed that i have 2 hematomas in my abdomen and i am just wondering what to expect and time frame of recovery.

Same thing here. Surgery was on the 13th of August. It seem to be getting a little better the last two days.
I don't have an answer for you but you aren't alone.
The doctor seems to think that it may be due to me taking aspirin to close to surgery.
I'll send some good thoughts your way for a quick recovery.

I also had a abdominal hysterectomy on the 13th of August, with a lot f bleeding and pain afterwards. My hemoglobin was tested and it was low. I then was sent for a catscan to find out that I have hematoma. That is all I was told. Now I am in pain and wondering when it is supposed to get better?
