first time Birth control and period

I just started using birth control on Dec 7th. I missed my pill sat the 13th and had sex with my partner that night but pulled out. I took it as soon as I got home. I haven't missed any others. I started the placebo pills last sunday . I have been spotting since Tuesday but my period hasn't came yet. Could I be pregnant or could it be due to my body adjusting to the hormones in the pills?

It's possible you could be pregnant because it usually takes about 3 cycles for the pills to be most effective against pregnancy. Also missed pills can cause you to ovulate early. I would test to be sure but it also could be hormonal like you said.
