Yes cancel and reschedule and let them know why.
Why I'm asking is because the last time I went to see my doctor her made an appointment for me to get a pap test done in 6weeks from that day and later u noticed that it was around the day I'm suppose to get my period and now my period was a day early and my next one is suppose to come the same day as my appointment and I'm not sure off I should cancel
Hello,
The best time to be tested by PAP is 10 to 20 days after the first day of your period. Menstruation does not cause abnormal Pap smear results; but, menstrual blood could cause false-normal test results because it may make abnormal cervical cells difficult to see. Hence you should get it done after periods.
