brownish yellowish whitish spotting after menopause for six weeks what could it be?

post menopause got a bandaid from a finger stuck in my vagina for a month when found it was smelly and now for six weeks having brown yellow discharge spotting what could this be?

Oh, well, that's not good.  I've heard of a forgotten tampon but never a lost bandaid.  I am a victim of a forgotten tampon and it was not pretty by the time I found it.  Do you still have the odor with the discharge?  Any pain, fever?  I think it would be a good idea to get checked.  You may have BV or some other type of infection. My issues once the tampon was removed went away a few days later--  if your symptoms are persisting, see a doctor to get checked out.
