what is that I feel in my side?

I am concerned about what feels like a vein/tube  that I can feel running under my skin from above the left side of my womb up to near my breast bone and as I say its inside. I first noticed it after I had a shower and when I was drying myself caught my hand on my skin and pulled it and it hurt , I thought I'd pulled my scar from where I had a c-section cause its a similar pain. it is quite tender to touch now. Is this normal?

Hi, thanks for replying.  I have seen my doctor and could definately feel it and was quite bemused by it and hasn't come across anything like it before. He said it most probably a blood vessel and to keep an eye on it.He did surgest I have a scan but then said I've had alot of tests recently and to wait till I receive my MRI results for my low back pain before any more is done but to keep an eye on it.It doesn't hurt only if I pull on it then I feel it pull up from inside the top left of my womb. Its just so wierd and I hope it isn't serious.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This can be a pulled muscle. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a physician.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing
