cramps before period

This is the first time I've been getting bad cramps for a week. My period is not due for another 4 days. What could this mean?

I used to get this quite a lot, apparently it is your egg traveling from your tubes. hope it helps :)

I get cramps and horrible bloating before I get my period.  Usually once I get it they stop for a couple days.  I'd say it's normal.
