Hi, the Mirena may not be in the exact position it should be. This can cause cramping. Are you able to feel the wires to check it is still in place? If you can't feel them it may have come out and this often leads to cramping.
Often with the Mirena the hormones it releases can make you feel sick for a while till it settles in. It can take up to a year.
If your cramps get worse or you are worried you can have an ultrasound to check it is still in place.
