MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From your symptoms there is a possibility that this is due to bacterial vaginosis. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by metronidazole((Flagyl, MetroGel) and clindamycin (Cleocin) which are available under prescription. They are available as pills or vaginal gels or creams. Please do not use any vaginal douches.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Don't be embarrassed to see your Dr. You really do need to get in and find out what's going on. It sounds like either a yeast or bacterial infection. Either of these would need treatment.
