is it normal to have blood in urine tests a yr after urethral sling surgery?

a yr ago I had urethral sling surgery. Since then, blood shows up in my urine tests. Is this normal? A cytology was done -Final Diagnosis Comment- Urine shows benign-appearing urothelial and squamous epithelial cells and scattered erythrocytes. No malignant cells identified

Hi there.  So, it depends.  How much blood and when was your surgery?  Some blood after is pretty normal but not for extended periods of time and not a ton.  Why did you have the surgery by the way?  Oh my gosh, since having kids I start to wonder if I don't need it!
