is this real?

Ok, this is strange so please remember I am only 25 years old. I got pregnant when I was 17, yes I know, way to young. But, I didnt start my peiord until I was like 15. I had some extremely bad and heave peiords. I misses school, and other events due to this. I cramped really bad and was unable to move at times. The doctor I seen for it said that it will get better fo me as I got older. I was prescribed no medications or nothing, just plently of rest. So, I had these peiords once a month, like clock work, up until the time I got pregnant. I was some what releived that I would be able to go awhile with out these herendus peiords. So I had my daughter, everything was great. I bleed after wards for like two days, nothing much. Then soon, very soon after, I found that I was pregnant again. No time to start a peiord. So, I carried my son. But someting happend. He decided that at 28 weeks he wanted to come out and see his mom and dad! I had a c section, I was ok, But I was in alot of pain. I didnt bleed much at all. Just a bit. But like three weeks after I left the hospital, I was having these extremely bad pains. I seen my doctor and they did some test and said that there was noting worng. Now here is the problem. Since then, I have not had a peiord. I bleed once and it was so thin it was basicly when I peed. So, I went to the doctor, they ran nurmous test, and she said that she thinks I may have already been thru menopause. Is this really possible? I was searching around for another doctor to go see. I am really worried about this. Please let me know your opinion on what may be going on. One friend, she is a nurse, wants and thinks I sould get tested and looked at for cancer. Could this be another possibility? By the way, the only time that I did bleed just a bit, I was really stressed out and upset when I was bleeding. Thank you in advanced. I appricate it!

My son is almost 7 years old. Now dont get me wrong, I am not complaining here. I just dont want to have complications down the road. The doctor I have been seeing for many years is a great doctor. I have even seen the Gynocologist and they didnt do any test or anything, they said about the same thing you did. But do you really think that it would have taken nearly 8+ years? I am getting ready to move to another state, I will be seeing a different doctor. I am hoping that they will find this to be something to really look into and find out if there are problems. My main worry is cancer or other woman health issues further down the road! I appricate your comments. Thanks you so much!

Talk to your Drs. about going on the pill so you can get your hormones regulated. And Most women who have some type of cancer in the Uterus etc. would bleed not the other way around.

Hey! How long has it been sinc eyou had your son? I had my daughter last March and when I stopped nursing her I had a period and then haven't had one since (6ish months). I think a REAL doctor would be able to say a definate YES if you have been through menopause. I am guessing we just haven't started ovulating again. Think about it. You haven't had a peiod in how long due to being pregnant. All those hormones have ot change and readjust.

I would find another doctor and start from the beginning again. I am going to call my OBGYN again tomorrow and make an apt for myself. Let me know what you find out!
