am i pregnant?

hi i was due on my period on monday 13th sept, im now 2 days late tuesday 14th sept i took a 1st morning wee n did the test i left it a few mins and it can up with 1 dark line and 1 very faint line, i wasnt sure if it was my eyes playing tricks on me but i am sure i saw a faint line, i re did the test wed 15th sept and i am now having a negitive result. i am confused and would like to know if i am or not, i have had some think similar to this with my 1st child

thanks 4 replying, omg i bet they were in shock 2 find out tht far ahead??  i kinda had the same wen i had my 1st child i had a faint positive my mum took me the docs and they were cuming up negative every week 4 a bout 5weeks then the doc sent my wee off and i had a fone call of doc 2 say she needed 2 c me urgently and it was tht i was pregnant!!  so not sure if thats happening again?? i keep thinking it was prob just a dodgy test or a evaparation line on the test or i was just seeing things but im sure i saw a faint pink line i just reali want a positive result its very fustrating not knowing :( thank u again x

I would just go in and get a blood test to make sure. I lines were really faint. I took like 4 of them! LOL

You need to wait at least 7 days past your period...good luck

You may need to have a blood test or ultrasound instead. I know a lot of women who have had false positives and false negatives...2 friends of mine were told they weren't pregnant and only an ultrasound showed positive. One was 6 months along and the other found out about 2 weeks before baby was born. Can't truly trust those tests. lol
Generally though, if one test shows positive (even a faint line) then it's positive. You could try waiting a few days and trying again with a good brand name test...HCG levels rise as time goes by.
