late period

So am 6 days late.... And am on birthcontrol could it be am pregnant or it normal?

Thanks for the answer dear....
Have been on birthcontrol only for 2 month; my doctor told me the probability to conceive can be high( since am trying to conceive)
Will be very happy if am pregnant..... But unfortunately it way too early .
If you have any tips to share am all ears. Thanks again

Hi there.  Welcome.  Well, not sure.  Birth control pills can fail on rare occasions especially if someone isn't taking them correctly (or misses a pill, takes two the next day, that kind of thing).  Typically, birth control pills regulate when a 'period' comes.  So, it is odd to skip your period while on birth control.  But again, if you had any days that you took them in a different way last month, that too can throw things off.

Since you are late, I'd take a pregnancy test to be sure.  And if it is negative, see if you go back to normal over the next cycle and if not, definitely call your doctor to determine what is going on.  Best of luck dear
