needing some answers!!

I just went to the bathroom and there was brown blood in my panties!  I've already had my period and I'm not due to get it til September 3.  My last period started on August 5, but was late by two days.  For the last three-four days of it I was hardly beleeding at all if even any at all.  I haven't had any cramps or anything.  I've been off my period for about two-three days now and then I go to the bathroom and there's the brown blood in my panties.  I've never had this happen before.  I have had unprotected sex with my husband once a week in July starting July 4.  The last time we had sex was August 9.  I have a 30 day cycle, I don't know when I ovulate but I've guessed about on day 16-17 of my cycle.  So around the 20 of July.  We had sex four days before and four days after the 20 of July.  Any reasons why i would be bleeding the brown blood, after my period?  It doesn't smell or nothing it was a pretty good bit enough that I would have needed to wear a pad.  Needing some answers.  I also took a pregnancy test on day two of my period being late it was negative.

Brown blood is 'old blood' and woman can have this at any time during their cycle and it is normal.  I often have it at the beginning and end of my period.  So, it could be perfectly normal.  Women also can have spotting such as this when they have a hormonal imbalance.

I would see if it stops.  If it doesn't, maybe it is time to have your annual pelvic exam and check up and you can talk to the doctor about this.

good luck hon
