I had the classic yeast infection symptoms of vaginal itching and cottage cheesy discharge so I took a Monistat 1 (the ovul) and it felt better for a few days but now, on day 7, the itchiness is back without discharge.  I took some Azo Yeast.  Will this help?

you can try using boric acid , water and white vinegar douche or even a multi-day yeast infection treatment. avoid taking baths or jacuzzis, and if you're going   swimming make sure to shower and thoroughly dry off and wear loose fitting cotton clothes. i had a bad problem with yeast infections due to my birth control and these are all things my doctor suggested. so i feel your pain. good luck

Thank you for the advice.  I was trying to treat at home because my doctor just closed his practice and I have to find a new one but I guess I better start looking.

from my understanding it just relieves symptoms not treats. if it is your first yeast infection you should see a doctor because it could be something else. your doc can give you an oral medication for it. (its just one pill) .
