So I had my son may 27/2014 and since then I  haven't  got my period , could it be because I am nursing? Please  help me if you know anything about nursing and how it affects period.

I nursed all 3 of my children and never had a period until I quit nursing.  It is normal and count it as a blessing.  I nursed the first one for 2 years, the 2nd one 2-1/2 years and the 3rd for 6 months.  (I was tired then :o))  So, as long as you are nursing and not having a period is totally normal.  Hook up with other nursing mothers at Le Letche League (find one in your local area).

Yes it can be because of the nursing if your not supplementing his/her feedings...breastfeeding can be a natural birth control method as long as your very exclusive to breastfeeding! If your worried take a test for reassurance or talk with a health care professional.
