pasty white discharge and different odor

I was dating a guy for awhile who had a vasectomy. The last time we were intimate was the last day of my period and ever since then (4 weeks ago) I've noticed a different odor down there that didn't smell bad, just not me. He has not had any STD-like symptoms. After my most recent period, the odor got stronger and now there is a pasty white discharge that I've never had before. There are no sores, itching, burning, or pain. I have a doctor appointment in a few weeks but have been racking my brain to figure out what's wrong and worried if it's an STD. Any advice, similiar issues, or recommendations? Thanks!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It looks like bacterial vaginosis. It is vaginal condition that can produce vaginal discharge and results from an overgrowth of normal bacteria in the vagina. Treatment is by antibiotics and you can use metronidazole gel or clindamycin cream for local application on vagina. They have fewer side effects. But inform your gynecologist before talking them.
I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

turns out it was just Bacterial Vaginosis which is just an upset in normal bacteria in the vagina. I was given Metronidazole with is just an anti-infective and viola! all is well with the world.
